Cheryl was the kindest, most giving and loving person you would ever meet. She was dedicated to her granddaughter Bella, the two of them were so close and she loved her SO much. Most recently, Cheryl spent most of her time and thoughts on her position as a care giver at Johnson's Long Lake Home. She was a person who loved to laugh. Cheryl was empathetic and she put everyone's feelings above her own. She was so sensitive, yet so incredibly tough.
The family that Cheryl is reunited with are her father; David, sister; Jeanette Stoffers, niece; Nichole Hopkins and grandparents; Frances and Alex Stolski.
Those she leaves behind to cherish her memory are her daughter; Alicia (Patrick) Hamman of Walker, "her Bradley" Smith of Walker, mother and step father; Barbara and Ken Seekon of Pequot Lakes, brothers; Mark Hopkins of St. Paul and David Hopkins of Coon Rapids, sister; Theresa Goulet of Coon Rapids, grandchildren; Anna Bella Rose Pound and Solaris Nevaeh Hamman and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A celebration of Cheryl's life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Northern Peace Funeral Home in Walker.
