Charlene M. Burton, 68, of Walker, MN, formerly of Rochester died Wednesday, November 22, 2017, at CentraCare Hospital in St. Cloud, MN, surrounded by family. Char was born October 5, 1949, in Langdon, ND, to Charles and Lois (Barker) MacLachlan. On December 18, 1970, she married Stephen Burton. They lived in Rochester, MN, where they raised their 2 children, before moving to Walker, MN, to Leech Lake in 1995 where they enjoyed their retirement.

Char enjoyed pontoons rides and fishing on the lake, playing bingo with her husband and friends, playing computers games and spending time with her grandsons.

Char is survived by her husband, Steve, and her daughter and son-in-law, Mindie and Chris Mahon, and two grandsons Zackary and Nickolas, of Rochester; a sister, Bobbie Greenlee, of Rose Creek, MN; a nephew Heath Greenlee (Darcy Wytaske) and their 2 sons, of Austin, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son Jesse; nephew Chris Greenlee; and two brothers, Chuck and Denny.
