Cass County Public Health flu shot clinics
Hackensack - Tuesday, Oct. 19, from 2 until 6 p.m., at Union Congregational Church.
Walker - Thursday, Oct. 21, from 2 until 6 p.m., at the Walker Area Community Center.
Longville - Tuesday, Oct. 26, from 2 until 6 p.m., at Salem Lutheran Church.
Pine River - Thursday, Oct. 28, from 2 until 6 p.m., at the Pine River/Backus High School.
Centers for Disease Control recommends everyone six months and older should get a flu vaccine as soon as they become available in the fall. The 2010-2011 flu vaccine will protect against three different flu viruses: H3N2 virus; influenza B; and the H1N1 virus that cause so much illness last flu season.
Cass County is able to bill Medicare part B and State Medical Assistance plans ony. The cost is $25 for all other plans including managed Medicare, and uninsured. A receipt will be provided for submission to health plans as needed.
