Starting a new business is an exciting process. At the Cass County EDC, we understand how overwhelming it can be and we have the knowledge and expertise to help you achieve your goals.

Please join us on Monday, March 12th, at 6:00 PM to learn more about starting a new business. The 3 hour seminar will be held at the Walker City Hall and there is no cost to attend.

Gail Leverson, of the Cass County EDC will present the topics of Business Structure, Filing a Business Name, Estimating a Total Project Cost, Writing a Business Plan, Securing Business Financing and others. The Cass County EDC has assisted over 70 businesses complete their business plans and secure financing for their projects.

Greg Smith, Leech Lake Brewery, successfully turned his hobby into a business using the help of the Cass County EDC. He will speak about the process of starting a new business in this area - what he would do the same and what he would do differently.

The Cass County Economic Development Corporation is a local non-profit corporation that provides technical assistance for businesses to help them create jobs and capital investment in Cass County.
