Brittney Marie Hopkins, age 18, of Fargo, ND, formerly of Grand Rapids, MN passed away very unexpectedly with her family at her side at Essentia Health Hospital, Fargo, ND.

Brittney was born in 2002 to Lance and Christy Hopkins in Grand Rapids, MN. Brittney loved playing basketball, taking long walks, longboarding, being with friends and family. She loved animals and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian.

Preceded in death by her aunt Cheri; uncle, Joe Hopkins; uncle, Dr. Stephen Perconte; aunt, Debbie Lignar; and cousins, Jason Wydra, Trenton Higbee, Chad Hachey, and Ricky Larson.

Brittney is survived by her parents; Lance and Christy Hopkins; sister, Brooke (Jessie) Hawk; brother Hunter Hopkins (Samantha); grandparents, Clarence and Judy Hopkins; Larry and Janet Hauser; nephew, Emmett Hopkins; numerous aunts, uncles, family and friends, and her pets.

A celebration of life will be held at Itasca Bible Church, 32253 Harris Town Road, Grand Rapids, MN beginning at 11:30 a.m., May 8th, 2021.
