Barry Alan Morse, age 65 of Paynesville died unexpectedly on August 3, 2015. Preceded in death by father James. Survived by mother Emma Bluhm Morse; wife of 30 years Judy Gilbertson Morse; brother Dan (Ann), sister Kim Myers (Dean); children Jenn Spartz (Dave), Justin (Ruth), Nicole Soderstrom, and Greg Matushenko; grandchildren Jake, Sara, and Jackson; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends; and a collection of guitars.

Barry was born December 21, 1949 in Minneapolis and graduated from South High School in 1967 and Inver Hills college in 1990. He was passionate about rock & roll and blues music; he played guitar with family and friends, in bar bands, as well as church worship groups. Barry was a loving son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend. A gentle soul who is dearly missed.

Memorial service will be held Saturday August 15 at 2 p.m. at River of Life Church, 22881 178th Avenue, Cold Spring, MN.
