FEDERAL DAM - Ardene E. Lego, age 77, of Federal Dam, Minn., died on July 2, 2010, in Duluth, Minn. Ardene was born Oct. 6, 1932, in Walker, Minn., and was raised in Boy River, Minn., attended school in Boy River. She was married to Mert for 58 years. She loved children, animals, music and life. She was a huge Minnesota Twins fan.

She is survived by: Husband Mert Lego; Sons Rick Lego, Mike (Kay) Lego; Daughters Gina (Jeff) Moore, Charlene (John) O'Connor; Sisters Barb LaCroix, Marjorie Forbord, Grace Pospichal, Della Loff, Laura Knutson; Brother John Forbord; 10 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Douglas Lego; grandson Levi Lego; and brother Orrin Forbord.

Services were held on Thursday July 8, 2010, at Carroll Funeral Home of Deer River.

Burial was at Fairview Cemetery in Federal Dam.[[In-content Ad]]
