Antonette Ruth (Toni) Schwerm
b. Oct. 21, 1968 d. July 21, 2017
Toni was born in St. Paul and moved with her family to the Longville area in 1976. She was a graduate of Northland High School, and Itasca Community College. Prior to working in the home healthcare industry, she worked at the old Corner Junction Store in Longville, as well as the One Stop, and LME Machinery. For many years Toni faithfully served as Pastor Duane Brown's Administrative Assistant, and served as a Deacon in Longville Community Church.
Toni was an ardent lover of Elvis Presley, as well as an avid hunter. She loved helping out anyone in need, especially the elderly, and will be remembered for her sense of humor as well as her infectious laugh. She deeply loved her children and their friends, and enjoyed camping and playing airsoft gun with them..
Toni was preceded in death by her father, Fred, and is survived by her twin children Amanda and Trent Mix of Bemidji, and daughter Emma Mix at home, brother Dan Schwerm, of Brevik, Aunt Gayle Traplay, and mother Jo Schwerm, of Duluth.
A service of Witness to The Resurrection of Life will be held at Salem Lutheran Church on July 25, with the Rev. Trish Jorgensen of Salem Lutheran and the Rev. Duane Brown of the Community Church officiating.
