Anna "Marie" Hiatt, age 89, of Coleraine, MN died Saturday, March 15, 2014 at Home & Comfort in Coleraine, MN.

Marie was born in 1924 to Harold & Elsie Hanson in Butler, MN and she attended school in Nevis, MN. She was united in marriage to Forest Hiatt on her 18th birthday in 1942 and they were married for 42 years. Marie was involved with 4-H and worked as a nurse in Alexandra, LA in a military hospital during WWII. She then worked as a nurse at Bethany Lutheran Rest Home in Fargo, ND. Marie was a member of Beth Messiah Jewish Fellowship. She attended Assemblies of God Church and New Song Alliance Church, both of Grand Rapids, MN.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Forest; one infant brother; and one sister, Clara Weeks.

She is survived by her son, Allen Hiatt, and two sisters, Edna Hanson and Helen Steel.

Visitation will be at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 20th until the 2:00 p.m. funeral service at Solid Rock Church of God in LaPrairie, MN. Officiates will be Fred Grossman, Rev. Jay Pepin, Rev. Keith Puglisi, and Rabbi John Ballek. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Remer, MN.
