Our school district is in such disarray it is difficult to see how anything good can happen here for years unless we - an old married couple, get involved for the sake of all the children in the district.

In 1999, December, the school district had a referendum for money to build a grade school for the whole district on our property. Before our property was selected, the school board looked at a lot of properties near the center of the district.

It looks to us like the school district will be dissolved because it will be impossible to get anyone to vote for a referendum for anything.

So, we will give 35 acres of land - high ground, cleared, well-drained land to build a high school on for the whole district, if a referendum would pass for that. We feel this in the only way the district can exist.

Long bus rides are especially hard on little children, that is one reason we make this offer.
