Alice was born November 29, 1922, in Hammond, IN, the daughter of Edward and Elsie (Fisher) Bloom. After graduating from high school, she continued her education. She married Robert Siemering, and the couple made their home in Hammond, IN, and later in Arlington Heights, IL, and raised three children. Alice was a purchasing agent for various companies. In 1983, the couple retired to Longville, where they owned and operated Loon's Nest Resort for 20 years. Alice had a passion and sense of belonging "Up North" in Minnesota, where she appreciated daily the beauty surrounding her. She cherished the friendships made while playing bridge and golfing, and with church and community activities.
She will be missed by her daughter, Cheryl Siemering, of Plymouth; son, John (Leslie) Siemering, Bolivar, PA; grandsons, Robert T. Siemering and John (Kim) Siemering; and great-grandchildren, Marian, J.P., and Jake.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Bob; son, Thomas Siemering; brother, James and parents.[[In-content Ad]]
