Abandoned Principles
To the editor,
Principles are discovered through common sense and not created out of pious ambitions. Principles are what we all have in common as our natural, our innate wants and needs. The pursuit of happiness is a personal need, so don't confuse it with wanting it for someone else as in altruism. Altruism is to be selfless. Selfless is to deny the first principle of your own existence your wants and needs.
Altruism is a humanist contrived emotion created by the father of sociology Auguste Comte and it is from this ignorance, or the ignoring, of the first principle of human nature that all social consciousness has evolved. It is also from this social consciousness that the bonds of our own Constitution, limiting government's powers, were dissolved.
Moral obligations are not enforceable by law. A moral obligation is to be selfless on one's own terms as in charity and a duty towards our Creators commandment to love thy neighbor as thy self. Charity is a virtue as opposed to socialism which is forced redistribution of personal property or deeds.
Socialism is definitive of a collective conscious that has no body or soul making it without principle. It is a false entity rivaling that of a god. In fact, Comte called his new found social science (sociology) the religion of humanity.
Sociology/socialism is a collective-conscious-science that has divided and morphed into many names over the last century throughout the world. In this country it is and always has been called progressivism.
Do not look to government to adhere to principles because it is a collective conscious itself, thus the need for a Constitution and government's powers to be enumerated and defined in their original context of "strict construction."
"Government is not reason; it is not eloquent; it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." (George Washington)
Our Constitution has been amended many times but not for the betterment of the people but for the strengthening of government itself.
In 1913 at the height of progressive thought our constitution was amended twice for reasons of strengthening the federal government's powers. These new Amendments increased the power of federal government to tax personal property via the 16th Amendment and to further solidify federal government power over the states by the 17th Amendment-the direct election of Senators by the people instead of appointing them by the state legislators. Progressives believed in a strong federal democracy over our Republic form of government. A republic government is to respect, protect and promote the principles our nation was founded under.
Our Founding Fathers did discus federal taxation and the elections of Senators to represent the states at the federal level and voted against these provisions because they violated or threatened our principles to life liberty and our pursuit of happiness.
Our Founders were true Republicans. Today any Republican who does not realize the principles to our true form of government as a republic in its "strict construction" are frauds and are no different than the progressive democrats. Progressivism is practiced on both sides of the isle. Their arguments are just squabbling over who should have the power over the people instead of protecting and "promoting" the principles that founded this nation.
I see nothing but chaos for the future of this country if we do not return to our principles and educate our people as to what a principle is.
Who is the "single payer" of my health-care and general well-being? The answer is self-evident and commerce or taxation has nothing to do with it.
Chief Justice John Roberts should be impeached as a two-bit swindler who swindled by modern progressive bait and switch justice, all of us out of our principled rights to life and our fundamental right to our own health-care as we see virtuous and morally obliged.
A doctor under such unethical control will violate his hypercritic oath or quit his profession. And a lot of them are choosing to quit.
When you have to lie to justify your means, your means have no principles to stand on.
Thus is the arrant nature of Obama-Care and Chief Justice John Roberts' ruling on the constitutionality of the Affordable Care Act. There is nothing honorable about both of the bastards. Only cowards will lie and retreat from principles.
As it will be in the future, it was at the birth of Man
There are only four things certain since Social Progress began.
That the Dog returns to his Vomit and the Sow returns to her Mire,
And the burnt Fool's bandaged finger goes wobbling back to the Fire;[[In-content Ad]]
