The Longville Area Women of Today are very excited to announce that the Turtle Town Art Fair will go forward in 2021 on the last Saturday of June, our 19th annual! We missed having the art fair last year and look forward to seeing everyone out and about. This annual event on beautiful park-like grounds typically draws more than 50 juried artists selling their handcrafted goods, ranging from photography, paintings, woodwork items, metal crafts, soaps, jewelry, pottery, fabric creations, miscellaneous food items and so much more.

The Turtle Town Art Fair will be held in Longville on the Salem Lutheran Church grounds on Saturday June 26, 2021. Spaces are still available for artists and food vendors. We are also looking for musicians to perform voluntarily. Please contact Trish at 218-851-1860 or email turtletownartfair@yahoo com. Applications are also available for pick-up or drop-off at Heartland Real Estate, Main Street Longville.

The Longville Area Women of Today (LAWOT) are an affiliate of the Minnesota Women of Today. Our purpose is to support civic, educational and recreational activities of the community through fundraising and volunteerism, while also providing social and recreational activities for members. All proceeds raised are returned to the community.

Our fundraising projects include but not limited to: Turtle Town Art Fair, December Cookie Walk, Toys for Kids and the Longville Community Garage Sale.

Our service projects include but not limited to: Longville Food Shelf. 2 higher-ed scholarships to young women graduating from Northland area, participating in Camp Olson's Halloween Party, Photos with Santa, Santa's Elves in December (providing gifts for Northland Elementary kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders to choose for their parents/guardians) and 2 mile "Adopt-A-Highway".
