LongBow Senior Men’s Golf League Results

   The LongBow Senior Mens’ League had 39 golfers forming 10 teams for play in three flights with Stableford scoring. Results from July 27 play are:

  The first flight first place team, coming in with a 141, included: Jerry Varner, 38; Mike Olson, 37; Craig Anderson, 34 and Dave Klosner, 32.

   In the second flight, the first place team, coming in with a  team total of 133, was the team of: Kenny Schleif, 35; Ted Rother, 33; Dale Hillstrom, 33 and Randy Noecker, 32.

   Coming in first place in the third flight, and a team total of 134, was Tim Klosner, 37; Doug Hoopman, 35; Dave Fox, 32 and Ernie Pulido, 30.

   There was a three way tie for the most Stableford points between Jerry Varner, Blair Witt and Tom Novak all with 38.

   Low gross of the day went to Mike Olson with a 72.

   Low net ended in a tie between Jerry Varner and Tom Novak, with their 82-12=70 and 83-13=70, respectively.

   Craig Severson was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 0’ 7”, while Kenny Schleif was closest to the pin on No. 17, at 2’ 6”. Mike Haining had the longest putt on No. 9 and Ernie Pulido had the longest putt on No. 18.

  Chip-ins were made by Craig Anderson (birdie), Mark Nichols (birdie), Bob Sankey (birdie), Mike Haining (par), Dave Klosner (bogey) and Ernie Pulido (bogey).
