Emily Greens Men’s and Women’s Golf League Results

   Leagues are continuing to accept new members. Each week is it’s own event. Come out and join in the fun!  

   League results for July 27 - 29 are:

   Tuesday Morning (8:30 am) Men’s League- First place team included: Jerry Hagel, Kola Slavin, Jim Wick and Tom Rollinson.

   The second place team included: Pay O’Conner, Ron Germann, Gordon Bobbe and Tom Walker.  

   Third place team included: Jack Anderson, Jack Schuller and Dave Purgett.

   The fourth place team included: Don Atwater, Len Deshayes, Ron Ladwig and Rick Jacobson.

   Longest putt, for the second week in a row, went to Lenny Deshayes with Cy Kruse being closest to the pin on #1, Mike Oelrich on #3 and Bruce Nelson on #9. Nelson also had the longest put on #5.

   Chip-ins this week went to Roger Hanson, Cy Kruse, Jack Schuller and Gary Nelson.

   Tuesday Morning  (11:00 a.m.) Back 9 League - The team taking home first place included: Lenny Deshayes, Keith Walker, Mike Oelrich and Jack Schuller.

   The team coming in second included: Gary Nelson, Mike Brown, Bill Gamble and Roger Hanson.

   Third place team included: Paul Jensen, Jim Wick, Rick Jacobson and Tom Rollinson.

   Tuesday Evening Men’s League / Wednesday Morning Men’s League - 

   Tuesday’s Skin went to Steve Smith. Proxy Winners were Taylor Carstens and Jake Appel.

   Skins on Wednesday went to Gary Bochman (2) and Bill Gamble. Proxy winner was Keith Walker (2). 

  Wednesday Evening Women’s League - The game of the day “Scrable,” was played with the following ladies walking away as winners: Meg Defor, Charly Richters and Elaine Slattery.

   Jane McKinley scored the only birdie of the day.

   Thursday Morning Women’s League - The Emily Greens ladies hosted a group of golfers from Crosswoods last week, the ladies coming in first place included: Sue Mitch, Barb Heck, Sharon Kampschroer and Beryl Roe.

   Second place included: Jenny Oseland Shirley Gorg, Bonnie Coffey and Cherly Fraser.

   The team coming in third place included: Ardis Thompson, Karen Appel, Mary Neer and Lisa Poirier.

  Last place included the team consisting of: Julia Reed, Charly Richters, Sandy Melberg and Marlene Yurek.

   This week the ladies played “Low Handicap Team Score,” with the following ladies walking way as winners: Charly Richters, Helen Silva, Lisa Poirier and Shirley Gorg.
