Gary E. Ringstrom

   Gary E. Ringstrom, age 82, of Boy River, MN passed away Sunday, December 12, 2021, at his home.

   Gary was born in 1939 to Harold and Averil (Olson) Ringstrom in Manannah, MN. He grew up in Boy River and attend school. Gary enlisted in the United States Army Reserves and served on active duty for 8 ½ years. Gary and Gail Vesledahl were united in marriage on March 4, 1961. They moved to the county in 1973 and raised their son and daughter. Gary worked for the Cass County Highway Department for over 33 years. 

   Gary was a longtime member of the American Legion and the Zion Lutheran Church in Boy River. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and spearing, working on his tractors, and his dogs. Gary was known for keeping everyone in line and staying one step ahead of things. He was a family man who truly loved time spent with his family and friends.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife, Gail; daughter, Brenda (Brett) Findler of Boca Raton, FL; son, Todd Ringstrom of Boy River; sister, Karen Lego of Federal Dam, MN; and granddaughter, Hannah Engel.

   At this time, no services will be held.
