LongBow Senior Men’s Golf League Results

   The LongBow Senior Men’s League had 46 golfers forming 12 teams show up for action.

   League results for August 17 are:

   First place team, scoring a 197 included:  Dave Fox, 68; Kenny Schleif, 70; Tim Klosner, 70 and Jim Sletten, 77.

   Second place ended in a tie with both teams scoring a 198. Those teams included: Tim Bykowski, 68; Steve Johnson, 72; Rod Bothast, 72 and Dave Klosner, 78 AND Marc Schonwise, 67; Greig Payne, 73; Harland Johnson, 7 and Ron Allar, 79.

   Also ending in a tie for fourth place, scoring a 203 was the teams of: Tom Novak, 66; Jeff Simons, 73; Neil Mandsager, 75 and Dale Hillstrom, 79 AND Mike Haining, 73; Randy Noecker, 73; Bob Alley, 75 and Craig Severson, 82.

   Mike Olson walked away with low gross with his 74, while low net of the day went to Tom Novak with his 79-13=66.

   Rod Bothast was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 2’5” and Joe Halley was closest to the pin on No. 17, at 6’6”. Bob Sankey had the longest putt on No. 9, while Jim Ernst had the longest putt on No. 18. 

   Chip-ins of the day were made by Blair Witt (birdie), Dallas Anderson (birdie), Bob Sankey (bogey), Marc Schonwise (double bogey) and Mark Nichols (double bogey).
