LongBow Senior Men’s Golf League Results

   The LongBow Senior Men’s League had 45 golfers forming 12 teams show up for action.

   League results for August 10 are:

   First place team, scoring a 195 included:  Paul Olsen, 70; Ron Allar, 70; Jan Pyzik, 77 and Craig Severson, 83.

   The second place team, with a 200 included: Ray Zittlow, 68; Doug Hoopman, 70; Steve Johnson, 75 and Jim Ernst, 79.

   Coming in third place with a 203 was the team of: Craig Anderson, 70; Mark Michols, 70; Sandy Trap, 72 and Steve Plante, 86.

   The fourth place team, with a 204 included: Jerry Varner, 67; Bob Sankey, 71; Bob Veilleux, 77 and Bruce Black, 79.

   In fifth place, with a 206, was the team of: Roger Frank, 70; Dale Hillstrom, 71; Mike Haining, 72 and Ernie Pulido, 78.

   Ray Zittlow walked away with low gross with his 76, while low net of the day went to Jerry Varner with his 79-12=67.

   Paul Olsen was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 8’8” and Randy Noecker was closest to the pin on No. 17, at 11’11”. Bob Sankey had the longest putt on No. 4, while Dale Hillstrom had the longest putt on No. 14. 

   Chip-ins of the day were made by Tom Slagle (eagle), Mike Haining (birdie), Dale Hillstrom (birdie), Jerry Varner (birdie), Mark Nichols (birdie) and Craig Anderson (par and bogey).
