Patricia (Wedl) Bailey

   Patricia (Wedl) Bailey passed away peacefully Saturday, February 15, 2020 at Interfaith Care Center in Carlton, MN. The second of three children, Pat was born on May 5, 1930, to Lee and Peg Wedl in Coleraine, MN. She was united in marriage to Bob Bailey on June 30, 1950. They raised their family in Remer, MN. Upon retirement, Pat and Bob moved to St. George, UT, and after Bob’s passing, Pat returned to Cloquet, MN to be closer to family.

    Pat was a kind and loving person who would always put others above herself. She enjoyed being with her family, playing bingo, any cards or games and golfing - even getting a hole in one. Her faith in God and her family were so very important to her.

   Pat was preceded in death by her husband Bob, son John, son-in-law Dick, brother Lee and her parents. She is survived by her son Bill (Angie) of San Tan Valley, AZ, daughter Peg Bittle of St. George, UT, son Dan (Judy) of Beverly, MA, son Jim (Carlene) of Vancouver, WA, daughter Sue (Joe) Wischnewski of Esko, MN, daughter-in-law Mary Nyvall Bailey of Las Vegas, NV, 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, sister Dar, sister-in-law Jan and Ethel, and several nieces and nephews.

   Due to COVID, the family was unable to gather and celebrate Patricia (Pat). Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 11 at her daughter’s home at 11 Ridge Road, Esko, MN at 12:30 p.m. If you are unable to attend the service, please stop by between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m. to share a story or two about Pat, visit with the family, and a grab a bite to eat. The family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff at Inter-Faith Care Center in Carlton for all the care they provided for Patricia.
