LongBow Senior Men’s Golf League Results

   The LongBow Senior Men’s League had 40 golfers forming 11 teams show up for action.

   League results for August 3 are:

   First place ended in a tie, with each team scoring a 195. Those teams included:  Bob Savre, 66; Mike Olson, 70; Bob Seeman, 72 and Dave Fox, 75 AND Tim Klosner, 65; Kenny Schleif, 69; Steve Johnson, 70 and Tom Novak, 74.

   Coming in third place with a 201 was the team of: Hadley Hooker, 70; Bob Sankey, 71; Dave Klosner, 72 and Jim Zierden, 77.

   The fourth place team, with a 202 included: Cy Sorrells, 71; Steve Plante, 72; Jan Pyzik, 74 and Roger Frank, 79.

   In fifth place, with a 204, was the team of: Greig Payne, 71; Ernie Pulido, 71; Ted Rother, 76 and Jim Ernst, 81.

   Mike Olson walked away with low gross with his 71, while low net of the day went to Tim Klosner with his 95-30=65.

   Jerry Varner was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 13’11” and Neil Mandsager was closest to the pin on No. 17, at 7’2”. Bob Veilleux had the longest putt on No. 8, while Rod Bothast had the longest putt on No. 11. 

   Chip-ins of the day were made by Dale Hillstrom (birdie), Jan Pyzik (birdie), Bob Seemann (par)_ and Jim Sletten (bogey).
