Vicki Jo Peterson

   Vicki Jo Peterson, 74, of Longville, passed away November 29, 2019 at her home with her husband Robert, family and friends by her side. Vicki was born on October 3, 1945, to Harold and Margaret (Dippold) Peterson. She was raised in Cass Lake, on Sucker Bay, where her parents owned and operated Rock Springs Resort.  At age six she moved back to Minneapolis and lived with her mother and grandmother.  On Vicki’s 17th birthday, she started her career at Northwest Bank, retiring on her 55th birthday after 38 years with the bank. 

   Vicki married the love of her life, Robert A. Wahl, on June 26, 1982. They made their home in St. Louis Park, and after retirement in 2000 they moved to Longville. She loved spending time fishing and looking out her window at Lake Inguadona and watching hummingbirds, going to the casino, watching The Price is Right and Wheel of Fortune and, most of all, going south and getting away from Minnesota winters. 

   Vicki was preceded in death by her mother and father and sister Carol Monroe.  She is survived by her husband, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces, and many friends.

   A review service will be held Saturday, August 21, 2021, at Northern Lights Casino in Walker from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Burial will at Pine Grove Cemetery in Cass Lake, Minnesota at 11 a.m. with a lunch to follwo at Northern Lights Casino.
