Closed meeting following Regular Meeting scheduled for Bob Starr concerning request for pay raise.
The City Council has been advised by the City attorney concerning Detachment procedures.
Michelle Hunt, speaking as Board Chairperson of the Isle Harbor on Leech Association, requested the Federally owned portion in the Original Annexation not be included in the Detachment. Tabled until City attorney can respond to request.
M/S/P Starr, Gillman (Council Seivert abstained from vote) to approve Isle Harbor Detaching, pending procedures indicated by City attorney, the easements to be transferred to Isle Harbor and the filing of legal documents.
The Clerk/ Treasurer was directed to schedule meeting with LnL Construction concerning 16th Avenue.
The Clerk/ Treasurer was directed to inform Darrick Anderson, Engineer from the Cass County Highway Department, that the City has not received any bids for servicing the main City streets.
M/S/P Seivert, Starr to purchase a new locked mail box for the City.
Bid received by Dan Tonga for plowing Treatment Plant, City Hall and City alleys.
The Clerk/ Treasurer was directed to write a letter to 422 Nature's Way property owners. Requesting a Building Permit fee & fine and an updated Building Permit Application for inspection.
M/S/P Gillman, Starr to accept Tim Jensen's bid to repair vandalism to City property. The bid will be forwarded to the the League of Minnesota Cities Insurance Trust claims office.
Reports of shots being fired within City limits. The Clerk/ Treasurer was directed to report information to Cass County's Sheriff's Office
Mayor Zuelow Giffen read election results from the November 6th 2018 election for the City of Federal Dam.
The next City Council Meeting is scheduled for December 11th at 5:30p.m.
