Present: Mayor Zuelow Giffen; Council: Starr, Tonga, Seivert, Gillman City Clerk-Treasurer: Lavrenz-Johnson

Visitors: Loretta Starr, Bob Starr, Rory Sherman, Joleen Seivert, Bill Adams, Annie Adams, Bob Singewald, Joan Singewald, Linda Monette

Approval of Agenda: M/S/P Starr, Gillman

Approval of Consent Agenda: M/S/P Tonga, Starr to approve following: Minutes of previous City Council Meeting, Cash Control Statement, FDSP Billing, & Expense Reports, FDSP Customer Balance Summary, Approval of Claims & Payroll, Receipts and Disbursements.

Citizen Petitions, Request:


Mark Saunders employment time with the city has been extended 5 years.

Discussion of billing history and tank location for 7 Fifth Avenue West.


Bob Singwald briefly addressed the council regarding the Isle Harbor/Bog Road.

Isle Harbor/ Bog Road Update: the Clerk/ Treasurer provided the City council members with copies of the email correspondence between the City's attorney and the Isle Harbor on Leech Owner's Association attorney. The Clerk/ Treasurer provided the City attorney with additional materials that were located in the files and the City's attorney is reviewing them at this time. A brief overview of the email correspondence was given at the meeting.


The new CTAS 2018 Budget Sheet was given to the City Council Members and explained.

74 October Circle building permit for construction of 28' x 34' Garage with storage trusses & bathroom-tabled until property is staked out.

M/S/P Tonga, Seivert to approve the Siren Service contract for 2018 with Frontline Warning Systems. Contract for one year is $710.00.

It was announced at the meeting that if a person needs to address the City council, he or she needs to contact the Clerk/Treasurer to have their name listed on the agenda for the next City council meeting.

The meeting for the Board of Appeal and Equalization is scheduled for 12pm Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at City Hall.

The next City Council meeting is April 9, 2018 at 5:30p.m.
