A student from Longville is participating in the Bemidji State University Student Association, the official voice of the BSU student body, during the 2020-21 school year.
Parker Kline, a junior studying creative and professional writing and design, is one of 25 student senators this year.
The BSU Student Association represents the student body to administration, faculty, staff and various levels of government. The collective proposes regulations, services and activities to benefit the students at the university.
Current initiatives include sustainability projects, mental health awareness and campus life participation.
Bemidji State offers 70 undergraduate areas of study and eight graduate degrees encompassing arts, sciences and select pre-professional programs.
