At 10 a.m., the first clue for the Medallion hunt will be released - pick it up at the Chamber office! Visit the American Legion Post 202 at 6 p.m. for the weekly meat raffle.

The Medallion Hunt's second clue will be released at 10 a.m. Extreme Bingo and DJ with prizes will bring extra fun to Birchwood Char House at 7 p.m.

Make sure to stop by and fuel yourself at the American Legion at noon with some chili, which will be served until it's gone!

Head on out to the ice of Birch Lake, where a fishing contest will be held from 12 - 3 p.m. costing $10 per person. Prizes will be awarded for the biggest fish caught by an adult, biggest fish caught by a youth and for the first 25 fish caught. Registration is straight out from public landing.

Also at noon, remember to register for the Penguin Plunge at the Visitor's Center. Brave souls and the truest Minnesotans will be jumping into Birch Lake near the City Docks at 1 p.m. There will be spectator areas at the jump site; witness this crazy event for the first time or return for another round! Proceeds benefit Faith in Action and Hackensack Area Fire & Rescue Department.

A silent auction will begin at the American Legion at City Park from 12-4 p.m. Make sure to stop by Birch Lake between 1 and 3 p.m. to enjoy a sled dog ride.

Beginning at 2 p.m., there will be free winter carnival kids' games and hot coco held at the Lighthouse Church including sledding, Paul Jr. Frozen Pancake Toss and a snow dig!

At 3 p.m., judges will rate the snow sculptures throughout town and declare a winner.

Get yourself some dinner from 4 - 6 p.m. with a fish fry at the Fire Hall, sponsored by Hackensack Fire and Rescue Department. Free will donations will be accepted. At 4 p.m., the silent auction closes at the Legion and winners will be announced.

Warm up by the bonfire in City Park near the pavilion at 5:30 p.m. and stick around for the fabulous fireworks display over Birch Lake at 6 p.m. Immediately following the fireworks, you can find horse racing, live music by Wutz Next, the 50/50 drawing, which you must be present to win, and the Sled of Spirits raffle drawing. All this will be held at the American Legion.

Rise and shine for an Auxiliary breakfast at the Hackensack Legion from 8:30-11:30 a.m. After breakfast, head over to Birchwood Char House for their Loaded Bloody Mary Bar!
