4/3/2019 12:45:00 PM Cass County residents invited to health visioning session
WALKER - Cass County residents are invited to share their vision of what a healthier community could be during a visioning session from 4-6 p.m. April 25 at the county government building at Backus, 218 Washburn Ave. E.
The health division of Cass Health, Human and Veterans Services will sponsor the event.
The health of communities depends on many aspects when factoring in individual, systems and population levels of health, Jeri Seegmiller, team leader, said in announcing the event. The community's perspective on what healthy communities are and visioning for the future of Cass County is very important, she added.
Cass County Health, Human and Veterans Services is responsible for assessing the health needs of the community and engaging the community in the process of mobilizing change for a healthier community.
After input, key community health issues will be identified and a community health improvement plan will be established through partnerships and collaboration, she said.
For more information about the listening session, call the public health division at 218-547-6839 or 218-547-6825.
