The Northland School Board met in a special session Thursday, December 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Northland High School. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the changes made in the purchase of services agreement with Hill City School for superintendent services discussed at the previous regular board meeting. The first change that was discussed was the ninety day termination clause where either board may terminate the agreement with a ninety day written notice at any given point in the year. The second change was the wording for compensation. Instead of the agreement stating an exact dollar amount it was changed to read that Northland School District will share fifty percent of the total cost for the superintendent position. The purchase of services agreement was approved by the Northland board and will now go back to the Hill City school board for final approval.
The next board meeting is the Reorganizational Meeting on Monday, January 7 at 6:30 p.m. to be held at Northland High School.
