nominations for directors
Would you like to volunteer some of your time to help fight hunger in our community? The Longville Area Food Shelf is seeking nominations for directors whose terms will begin on January 1, 2019. Nominations will be taken at the annual membership meeting on Monday, October 8 at 8:30 a.m. in the Food Shelf building.
Food Shelf members will then cast their votes during the last two weeks in October. Directors will serve for two years, with regular monthly meetings held in Longville. Candidates must be, or become, members of the Food Shelf, and should have a desire to serve the community.
The Longville Area Food Shelf is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization whose mission is "to involve our communities to end hunger." It also operates the Tossed & Found Boutique thrift store in Longville.
If you or someone you know is interested in serving on the Food Shelf board, please attend the annual meeting or submit your/their name by email to Carol Charpentier, Food Shelf Chair, at email@example.com, or call her at 218-363-3325.
