Cass County to develop updated forest resources management plan
The Cass County Board recently approved a contract to develop a 10-year update to the county's forest resource management plan. The plan will address the 255,000 acres of tax-forfeited land administered by the Cass County Land Department. The updated plan is anticipated to be completed in 2020, following opportunities for public input and a public comment period.

Oktoberfest Celebration in Longville
It's time to get out the Lederhosen or the dirndl dresses because it is time to enjoy the festivities of Longville's annual Oktoberfest.

Begin the festivities with wine and cheese at the Oktoberfest Opening Reception from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Thursday, September 12, at the Gallery of New Creations Longville Arts Center. Then join us on Saturday, September 14, for the all-day festivies.

Arts Off 84 Art Crawl set for Labor Day Weekend
The 12th annual Arts Off 84 Art Crawl is set for August 31 - September 1 during Labor Day weekend.

Five locations along scenic MN Highway 84 between Pine River and Longville will feature 80 artists showing and selling their works of art. Show hours are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. on Saturday, 10 - 4 p.m. on Sunday.
