Blandin Foundation Education Grant deadline is March 1
Blandin Foundation's applications for need-based education grants are available and being accepted until March 1. Up to $1 million will be granted to Itasca County area students pursuing school after high school during the 2020-2021 school year.

Walker Talkers return from Hibbing meet with 11 awards
Saturday, February 8th, the Walker Speech Team competed in its 5th tournament of the season at the historic Hibbing High School. While the tournament was typical in nature, the location was unique.

National Snocross Series makes a stop in Dubuque
Rounds 9 and 10 for the National Snocross Series visited a new location in Dubuque, Iowa. Dubuque has been on the National Snocross Schedule for the past few years, however the Dubuque County Fair Grounds was the new venue location for the 2019/2020 season and it did not upset.

Walker Talkers earn awards at Grand Rapids and Duluth
Last week was busy for the Walker Talkers. It began on Tuesday night with a rescheduled competition in Grand Rapids, and it ended on Saturday in Duluth at the Denfeld Rotary Tournament. Walker performed well at both tournaments, leaving with a number of awards in hand.
