I'm truly sorry to hear about the loss of Kalie, I just have a memory to share. My first day of being In district 191 was in 9th grade, I barely knew a couple people in my new school. I was in Ms. Jeffers history class and this bright, bubbly girl with a big smile and braces was sitting next to me. She immediately began to talk with me and Introduced herself as Kalie. It absolutely brightened my day to have someone reach out to me and she truly helped me feel welcome. We were always friendly with each other from that day on and she helped me meet a lot of great people. We've lost touch as the years go by and I'm hurt for you and your family. However, I will never forget that girl who went out of her way to be nice to the new kid. I know that you know she had a wonderful heart and will truly be missed. I'm sorry for your loss.
