The LongBow Senior Mens’ League had 40 golfers forming 10 teams for play in three flights with Stableford scoring. Results from June 22 play are:

  The first flight first place team, coming in with a 133, included: Jan Pyzik, 37; Joe Halley, 34; Neil Mandsager, 31 and Jerry Varner, 31.

   In the second flight, the first place team, coming in with a  team total of 136, was the team of: Kenny Schleif, 39; Harland Johnson, 39; Joe Maertens, 30 and Paul Casey, 28.

   Coming in first place in the third flight, and a team total of 140, was Bob Sankey, 37; Tim Klosner, 37; Bob Vaughn, 34 and Rod Bothast, 32.

   There was a three way tie for the most Stableford points between Kenny Schleif, Harland Johnson and Tom Novak all with 39.

   Low gross of the day went to Mike Savre with a 78.

   Low net ended in a three way tie between Tom Novak, Kenny Schleif and Harland Johnson, with their 83-14=69; 85-16=69 and 90-21=69, respectively.

   Jeff Simons was closest to the pin on No. 12, at 6’ 6”, while Kenny Schleif was closest to the pin on No. 17, at 16’ 2”. Brad Duhr had the longest putt on No. 11 and Bob Vaughn had the longest putt on No. 14.

  Chip-ins were made by Steve Plante (birdie), Jeff Simons (par) and Tom Novak (birdie).
