Remer's third annual Bigfoot Days July 6 and 7 Time to go 'Squatching
The legend of Bigfoot has been circulating for nearly sixty years, and Remer has been declared the Home of Bigfoot since 2016!
Join area squatch hunters in celebrating Remer's Third Annual Bigfoot Days, July 6-7
Beginning at 4 p.m. Friday, July 6, at the Depot will be live music, a beer garden and food followed by Bigfoot Teams & Individuals live storytelling at 5 p.m. Bigfoot Olympics commences at 6 p.m. In addition, a Bonfire will be at the Motel and Food Vendors at the Gazebo and Depot all evening. At 7 p.m., Nashville Acoustical Musicians Neal Elder, Faydra Largo and Jacob Earles take the stage. With talent in genres for everyone, they play from Waylon, Garth and Reba to Fleetwood Mac and the Allman Brothers.
Saturday, July 7, kicks off early at 7 a.m. with Bigfoot 5K participants, with the race begins at 9:30 a.m. From 8-10 a.m. hit the Library for a pancake breakfast. There will be a Kid's Zoo at 10 a.m. while adults prepare for 11 a.m.'s Bigfoot Scavenger Hunt. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Kid's Games will be in full swing.
At 12:30 p.m. a Kid's Scavenger Hunt will commence, as well as three-on-three basketball tournament.
Beginning at 2:30 p.m. is Bigfoot Bingo, followed by Bigfoot Teams & Individuals live storytelling. The Bigfoot BBQ contest begins at 3 p.m. and Decko's Live Music at the Depot at 3:30 p.m.
Get the kids ready for their Bigfoot calling contest at 4:30 p.m.
Get to Remer Muni at 5:30 p.m. for Bigfoot Days Raffle Drawing, followed by Bigfoot meat raffle at 6 p.m. and High NRG Karaoke at 7 p.m.
Make your way to the Pub to finish the night at 10 p.m. with an adult Bigfoot calling contest!
Bring a chair and have a "beverage with Bigfoot"!
