9/29/2017 1:12:00 PM Author Jill Hannah Anderson to visit Remer
Physical books are slowly becoming a thing of the past, but hold on to those hard covers! Minnesota author Jill Hannah Anderson will be at Remer Centennial Library on Saturday, September 30 from noon - 2:00 p.m.
Jill's debut book, "The To-Hell-And-Back Club" will be featured at this meet-and-greet event! Books are available at Amazon.com or readers may order it from their favorite bookstore, although there will be a limited number of copies available for those last-minute bookworms.
Whether you bring your own copy or buy one from Jill herself, she will be signing books for those who attend!
"The To-Hell-And-Back Club is a heartwarming story about navigating tragedy and secrets with a little acceptance, a little resilience, and a whole lot of friendship. A perfect book club pick!" Barbra Claypole White, bestselling author of Echos of Family, and The Perfect Son.
"Set against the backdrop of Minnesota's 10,000 lakes, Anderson's debut follows greif-stricken Peyton Brooks on her journey from despair, to hope, to wholeness in a story that reminds us of the jarring truth that life can change in an instant." Julie Lawson Timmer, author of Five Days Lefto, Untethered, and Mrs Saint and the Defectives.
In conjunction with the Fall Has It All Kids' Day activites at Remer Depot, Remer Centennial Library will be hosting several fun events prior to Jill Hannah Anderson's meet and greet! From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. there will be a book sale of gently used books of all genres, including a selection of children's books. The organization Friends of the Library will hold a raffle for a hand-made quilt. Tickets are $2 and the winner will be drawn during the event. In addition, the library will be serving hot dogs, chips and beverages from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
It makes no difference whether reading is a daily hobby or a new adventure, readers won't want to miss this opportunity for a fresh read and a discussion with the mind behind it!
